'A'pril Fools ♥

"April Fools' Day is celebrated in different countries around the world on the April 1 of every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day where many people play all kinds of jokes and foolishness. The day is marked by the commission of good humoured or funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.
The earliest recorded association between April 1 and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1392). Many writers suggest that the restoration of January 1 as New Year's Day in the 16th century was responsible for the creation of the holiday, but this theory does not explain earlier references." Have you been fooled today? Are you an April fool!? I've been fooled quite a few times, it is very confusing because you don't know if someone is generally telling the truth or making a joke!

-My brother's April fool to me (i'm red): "It's our headteachers last day today" "Really?! Are we having any new rules or anything?" "Yeah, we don't have to wear a blazer if we don't want, we can just wear a v-neck!" "That's well good!" "I know yeah!"
Then my dad comes into the conversation and I tell him the good news very excitedly! Jacob then sneaks in.... April Fools!!!!

-My friends's April fool to me: She told me I had bird poo in my hair, I actually believed her because I forgot it was April fools day and she is a good actor!

-My form tutors fail of an April fool to me: "Ruth, has Mrs Bulmer" (my head of year)... then he started laughing! He was meant to say that I was moving forms! Haha.

I hope you had a good day, happy blogging :)

I remember being completely fooled by an April Fool's joke when I was your age. One of my best friends announced his family was moving out of state the next day, because his dad got a new job. And he got all of his teachers in on it, so he handed back his books and they all wished him well. I was so convinced I stopped by his house after school to hang out one last time, and which point he laughed at me and fessed up.

So yeah, don't feel bad about what you got fooled by. I'm much more gullible.
