(Blackpool) 'Z'oo ♥

First of all thank you grandad for saving me on letter 'z'!!!!!

Last year in the Summer holidays, my brother and I went to the zoo in Blackpool with our Nana and Grandad.

The zoo has loads of animals- giraffes, monkeys, snakes, lions, meerkats and much more!

We saw lots of funny animals including Chimpanzees that act so human-like it is untrue!

This is a picture of the MASSIVE tortoise we saw:

It took us about an hour to get there.... but it was worth the wait!

<------ Wowwwwww!!!

Entering the dinosaur section- from left: me, Jacob and Nana.

Blackpool isn't just good for the zoo, it has many other attractions including the pleasure beach and blackpool tower. Don't forget... the beach!

After we visited the zoo, we headed to the carvery right next the sea. It was lovely food!

Thank you Nana and Grandad, I can always count on you for a great day out!

Well! We're at the end! Hasn't it been great?!

I have found some AMAZING blogs throughout this challenge and loved reading some of their posts during the challenge!

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog as much as I have enjoyed reading yours!

Please carry on checking out my blog once in a while as well as in the future, as I will continue to look at many of your blogs.

Finally, a big big thank you to:

My next posts aren't limited to a letter, I don't know what I think about that, hmmm I wonder what my next letter will be!?

I keep trying to get my husband to take me to the LA Zoo because I have never been, but he won't. I guess I could go by myself as I am a grownup, but that is not as fun. That is a great turtle picture...and thanks for visiting my blog. Glad to have found you, even if it was at the end of the alphabet.

Hi, I have been to several zoos, and enjoyed them. One of the most fun was the Henry P. Dooley "Wild Kingdom" zoo in Omaha. My husband and I went to that one on a tour he and I took in our car across a good portion of America the summer that I retired from teaching. It was so much fun, but as seniors, it didn't take us long to get our fill of walking around.
I enjoyed your pictures and posting.
Another A to Z'er. Ruby

It's been a while since I've been to a zoo. We don't live near a large city now. The St. Louis Zoo was a wonderful one to visit when we lived in Missouri.

I found your blog on the list of challenge winners. Congrats to you for making it all the way through!

Congrats on getting to Z! I love the zoo, too. Shannon @ The Warrior Muse and I are joining forces in another challenge. We're going to visit and comment at each of the participants, starting with the reflections post. We hope you'll join us!

I absolutely love going to the zoo. I know I may be old, but it never gets old. I can't believe the size of that tortoise! I think my favorite was when I went last year with my mom and got to pet baby tigers.
