'D'VD ;D ♥

One of my favourite things to do is watch films, so when I thought about today's post, I knew it had to be DVD!

In my eyes there are lots of different times for watching films; the girly ones you watch at sleepovers, the family ones you all watch together, the ones you watch with your sister in your room with some popcorn, the rubbish ones you have to sit through with your brother (not always that bad, I have to admit!) and then there are the plain sad ones, your guilty pleasure that you never really admit to watching!;)

My favourite DVD of all time has to be: SHE'S THE MAN (not just because Channing Tatum is totally gorgeous)! If you were with me or my sister whilst we watched it, we can pretty much quote the whole film, impressive right? Or just totally sad! Here is the trailer......

Another good one is Coach Carter which also has Channing Tatum in but not very much. My sister (and me a little bit) is a big fan of the poem in it.......

In the words of Marianne Williamson...
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

So go out there and SHINE and you can make other people SHINE too.

Hi, IMO, we do not shine, but God's love shines through us, when we give the Glory to Him and when our lives are immersed in His will. We are nothing in our own right, we can do nothing in our own right, only in His. You have a really interesting post. Thanks, Ruby
