'J''K' Rowling ♥

I love Harry Potter and today's post will mainly be about that, but first a little background information on the author; J.K Rowling....

Joanne "Jo" Rowling, (born 31 July 1965) better known as J. K. Rowling is a British author best known as the creator of the Harry Potter fantasy series, the idea for which was conceived on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990. The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, sold more than 400 million copies and been the basis for a popular series of films, in which Rowling had overall approval on the scripts as well as maintaining creative control by serving as a producer on the final instalment.
Rowling is perhaps equally famous for her "rags to riches" life story, in which she progressed from living on benefits to multi-millionaire status within five years. As of March 2010, when its latest world billionaires list was published, Forbes estimated Rowling's net worth to be US$1 billion. The 2008 Sunday Times Rich List estimated Rowling's fortune at £560 million ($798 million), ranking her as the twelfth richest woman in Great Britain. Forbes ranked Rowling as the forty-eighth most powerful celebrity of 2007, and Time magazine named her as a runner-up for its 2007 Person of the Year, noting the social, moral, and political inspiration she has given her fandom. In October 2010, J. K. Rowling was named 'Most Influential Woman in Britain' by leading magazine editors. She has become a notable philanthropist, supporting such charities as Comic Relief, One Parent Families, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain, and Lumos (formerly the Children's High Level Group). What a lucky lady: rich, creative and such an amazing thinker, writer and story teller!

Harry Potter is very well known world wide, so I am not going to even explain what it is or the storyline. Today I am going to tell you my favourite books/films and characters. PLEASE TELL ME YOURS IN A COMMENT:)

My favourite film is definitely number three- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Mainly because I really enjoy it, I like the acting, especially when it gets complicated when they go back and forward in time and there are two of them!  I also like how everything links up and  that Sirius is actually a 'goody'.

I couldn't really tell you my favourite book because I only got to number three and ended up stopping reading because I got too scared! I guess it isn't a bad thing though, it just means JK Rowling is a good writer!

My favourite character has to be Hermione. I am often compared to Hermoine Granger by my grandad, I don't think I look like her......

I don't see the resemblance; do you?

Hi! Stopping by from A-Z.

I have to admit that I've never finish a Harry Potter book. I tried--but it just isn't for me.

But I see the likeness in the picture!

What seems to be generosity is often no more than disguised ambition, which overlooks a small interest in order to secure a great one.
