Before I properly start I would like to apologise in advance to my regular readers who may not be football fans, or may be a United fan... but please, keep reading.. it will include some other things too!!
And it just so happens that City played a premier league game yesterday and were VERY successful.
If you're wondering how to define VERY, try hmmm...... 5 NIL!!!!!!!!!!
The first goal (9 mins) was scored by Adam Johnson- fine shot, straight into the back of the net
The second goal (15 mins) was scored by Carlos Tevez- a cracking penalty, not very strong though
The third goal (63 mins) was scored by David Silva- beautiful tap-in following Balotelli's rebounded shot
The fourth goal (67 mins) was scored by Patrick Vieira- scored right after coming on, just over line
The fifth and final goal (73 mins) was scored by Yaya Toure- burst from midfield all the way up
City had 52% possession, 12 attempts on target, 2 attempts off target, 6 corners and 9 fouls (as oppose to Sunderland's 20!).
As promised for anti-football/city fans.....
And just to rub it in... City are back to third! And 5 goals can't be bad for goal difference ay!
Just a little thanks to mum for the help in match statistics, although you were more than happy to talk about a 5 nil win! :)
